Develop the essential or core sea kayak skills of safety, background knowledge of kayak design, equipment, clothing and etiquette.

Practice rescue skills in a heated pool in the morning, then dry out indoors for the theory session. Finish with the 8 staple strokes and paddling technique. We all have to start from somewhere, and the beginning is as good a place as any.

Morning session held at Beban Park Pool, unless otherwise notified.
