Successfully negotiating surf zones is a critical skill anytime that you venture beyond sheltered waters or when poor weather conditions develop. Prerequisite:
Intermediate Paddling Skills course or equivalent; Current lll Navigating Current Channels or equivalent; Sculling & Bracing or equivalent. Highly recommended skills: Rolling; Rescue ll.
