We start from Schooner Cove and paddle the reefs and tiny islets that dot the waters surrounding Schooner Cove and Willis Point. On our excursion we hope to meet and view harbour seals; sea lions when the season is right; the wonderful cast of migratory birds loitering the rocks; and to be watched over by bald eagles. On the return the sun will set, signalling another satisfying excursion.

Take a Historic tour in a canoe patterned after the canoes designed and used for hundreds of years by First Nations people along the west coast. The Clan Dancer, seats up to 8 paddlers, and the Pacific Dancer (35 feet in length) seats up to 18 paddlers.
Your guide/instructor will teach you the basics of a canoe stroke and then lead you through a guided tour around the waters of Newcastle Island.
