Low Brace Turn

Develop greater communication with your kayak and the conditions you are in through bracing and edging. Learn to put it your kayak on edge for tighter turns and greater manoeuvring with confidence. Bracing will expand your level of support and confidence for rougher conditions. Bracing is also a key progression to your roll.

Location
We put in from our Adventure Centre at Brechin Boat Launch on Newcastle Channel, where we teach the course.

Prerequisites
Introductory paddling skills and course are required for this course. This course is also the next progression from Intermediate Paddling Skills and suggested for rolling.

Arrive 30 minutes early to prepare your kayak and take care of necessary paperwork.

Required material
A dry top and wet suit are highly recommended and bring a change of clothing. ?You?re not improving unless you getting wet,? plan on getting wet.
