Our Alberni Outpost locations are Vancouver Island’s premier paddle sport stores, and the gateway to the Broken Group Islands, Deer Group Islands, Gulf Islands and Clayoquot Sound.
We carry a full line of kayaks, canoes, and paddling accessories, including water safety gear, plus a large line of hiking and back-country camping gear. We also stock a full line of outdoor clothing for the whole family. Our Outpost in Port Alberni also has a full line of surfboards and surfing gear for sale or rent. As the last supply outpost you may stop at as you pass into the wild, we make sure to carry everything that you will need to paddle, camp, and surf in style and fully enjoy the experience.
We paddle, camp, and surf ourselves, so we will make sure that you are properly equipped for your adventures, with gear that fits your body and your experience level.
We carry Current Designs, Ocean Kayak, Necky, Wilderness Systems, Perception, Nigel Denis, Nimbus, and Seaward kayaks, as well as Clipper and Old Town canoes.

We offer a range of activities using Newcastle Island and its surrounding waters as a base. We can tailor the activities to meet your needs from single sessions to multi activity days. We have experienced and enthusiastic guides who will ensure your children have a safe and fun time. |
